Trump Liable for Sexually Abusing Writer E. Jean Carroll - He's (Allegedly) Harassed and Assaulted More Than 25 Other Women
It was unanimous and Trump's mad
Former President Donald Trump has been found liable for sexual assault and defamation of writer E. Jean Carroll. A jury of six men and three women was unanimous in its decision, which took less than three hours to reach. For his part, Trump is in a rage, stating that he, a man in pictures with E. Jean Carroll who definitely knows who she is, “has no idea who this woman is” and that the “verdict is a disgrace” in “the greatest witch hunt of all time.”
Sure, Trump, sure.
The former president’s legal team had previously been warned about Trump’s social media usage, saying he was “tampering with a new source of potential liability.”
More below, including dozens of other women Trump allegedly assaulted or harassed.
Carroll was awarded $5 million in damages, a victory she has waited many years for after having come forward in 2019. The writer’s case was further strengthened by witnesses she’d contemporaneously told about the assault, which she says took place in a Bergdorf Goodman department store dressing room in 1996. It is thanks to New York’s new Adult Survivors Act that she was able to sue for battery in 2022.
As expected, Trump’s team will appeal the ruling and says this is a political maneuver by Democrats to stop him from getting back into the White House in 2024.
- we appreciate you coming forward! It gives strength and hope to others that there is at least some modicum of justice in this world.

Trump Liable for Sexually Abusing Writer E. Jean Carroll - He's (Allegedly) Harassed and Assaulted More Than 25 Other Women
Thanks for covering this trial, but when will Tara Reade see any justice for the sexual assault she suffered at the hands of Joe Biden?
Thx Jenn for having the courage ...
In my world, just one allegation of sexual misconduct is too many ... so Trump actually passed my litmus test for a bully decades ago ... if a public figure cannot be trusted in the semi-public settings of these allegations, then why should we believe he has our best interests at heart in his private dealings ... and I'll bet very few people remember that Trump actually tried to cancel food stamp benefits for 700k recipients in the midst of the pandemic before a judge stopped him ...
