Four Muslim Men Killed by Possible Serial Murderer in Albuquerque, Causing Panic

A fourth Muslim man, Naeem Hussain, was murdered in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday, just after attending the funeral service for two of the other murdered men. Police believe the four murder cases may be connected.

Hussain was shot in the parking lot of an organization that assists refugees and asylum seekers. Police believe this string of homicides could be targeting Muslim men based on their religion and race.
Hussain is from Afghanistan and Pakistan. Tahir Gauba, director of public affairs with the Islamic Center of New Mexico, says that the community, which is very near a student population, is very afraid.
Guaba said, "Right now, it is really tough to deal with. I mean, especially right after the funeral. The same day, that thing happened again. So, it's just really crazy."
Albuquerque Police Chief Medina reports that the department is working with the FBI, The New Mexico State Police, The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office, the ATF, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Medina recommends that "individuals [let others know] when you're coming in and out, make it very obvious that others are watching when you're leaving your car to your house...I think it's important to let everybody know that we're all watching out for one another."
Police ask those with any information to contact Crime Stoppers at 843-STOP - they are offering a $20,000 reward.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations has a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
